We are seeking a Spanish/English Bilingual individual who is hands-on and detail-oriented to assist in the fabrication of custom orthotic devices. This entry-level role supports both manual and machine-assisted production in our lab, working closely with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction, shaping, and finishing of orthotic devices using basic tools and lab equipment.
- Operate or support the use of fabrication machinery, including sanders, routers, vacuum formers, and heat guns.
- Follow practitioner instructions to assemble and modify devices to meet patient needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
- Label and track patient devices and assist in inventory organization.
- Support delivery timelines by working efficiently and collaboratively with the clinical and fabrication team.
Experience Requirements
- No prior experience needed.
- Comfortable using hand tools, basic shop equipment, or eager to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow technical instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently and with a team.
- Ability to work with hands and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, or lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and interest in learning a specialized healthcare trade.
