The Custodial Manager position is responsible for supervisory work involving the assignment and direct supervision of custodial employees to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all buildings on Metal Museum campuses. This includes offices, classrooms, exhibitions, and entrances/hallways. This position is also responsible for training new employees in proper procedures for operating tools, machines, cleaning compounds, and chemicals. In addition,
this hands-on role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in the areas of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, structural, energy management, fire suppression system, and electrical equipment. The role continuously supports facilities operations with the goal of reducing downtime including, but not limited to building maintenance, related systems, and equipment.
