DEPARTMENT: Plant Production
POSITION TITLE: Plant Supervisor
RESPONSIBLE TO: General Manager/AGM
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1. High School diploma.
2. Engineering background preferred
3. Good skills analytical and computer skills
4. Previous plant production experience.
5. Ability to articulate, written/verbal performance reviews and corrective action as needed.
6. Project inspiration and encouragement even when under pressure.
7. Lead, guide, and train thru floor leadership.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Supervise the effective and efficient use of equipment, machinery and personnel to ensure product flow through the plant remains consistent, and while assuring established company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Encourage employees to promote efficiency, quality and cooperation.
2. Meet with your team daily upon startup to review safety topics and daily/weekly goals.
3. Assist Team Leaders to coordinate the activities and assignments of production personnel.
4. Consult with the Production/General Manager to determine adequate staffing levels.
5. Train and monitor employees to operate equipment efficiently, safely, and accurately.
6. Maintain constant communication with engineering to make sure equipment is operational and safe for use.
7. Maintain constant communications with the Team Leaders, Production/General Manager to assure that all customer requirements are met.
8. Insure that all incoming and outgoing linen is weighed.
9. Insure all tickets are being managed properly in pack out areas.
10. Manage incoming and outgoing clean/soil docks for all goods.
11. Report weekly with inventory of new unprocessed linens.
12. Insure all bulk and additional carts of linen not needed are covered at all times.
13. Insure all rewash and stain are brought to the appropriate areas daily and marked for identification.
14. Insure that all plant production areas are kept clean and organized at all times.
15. Consult with Production/General Manager on any corrective action problems.
