In response to the sudden financial crisis many families face following immigration enforcement action, Latino Memphis has launched an Emergency Relief Fund in partnership with UpTogether. We are providing a one-time $500 support grant to help families navigate immediate needs at their own discretion, whether for rent, utilities, food, or legal costs.

No. A Social Security number is not required.

Immediate family includes a spouse, parent, child, sibling, dependent, or any other financial contributor living in the same household.

Residents of Shelby County and surrounding counties in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas may qualify. If you are unsure whether your location is eligible, call our office and we will help you determine your eligibility.

Documentation may include a Notice to Appear (NTA), ICE paperwork, or a letter from an immigration attorney. If you do not have documentation, call our office. We can help you gather what you need.

This is a referral-based fund, meaning individuals do not fill out the application themselves. To start the process, call our office at 901-366-5882. A staff member will assess your needs and, if eligible, our team or a partner organization will submit the referral on your behalf.

Applications are reviewed as quickly as possible. Approved applicants typically receive funds within a few days.
