We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. The QA Specialist will play a key role in maintaining high standards by ensuring products, services, or processes meet established quality criteria. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This is a 2nd shift position. The working hours are 3:00pm-11:00pm. $18.00-$20.00hr depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and audits of products, materials, or services according to company standards.
- Document and report quality issues or discrepancies to appropriate departments.
- Monitor processes to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and other quality assurance activities.
- Support the development and implementation of QA policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with operations, production, or service teams to promote a culture of quality.
- Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications in QA is a plus.
- 2-3 years prior experience in a quality assurance or inspection role.
- Basic understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
